Hey People :)

Yesterday was the music night and we finally performed shake it out by Florence and the machine :)
Compared to the rehearsals we had we were actually really good and i was SO happy it was over and went well :D

That's really all the news except EASTER HOLIDAYS ARE COMING UP !!!
Friday(tomorrow) is our last day and then we are off for 2 weeks :O
I cannot wait but i really hope the sun stays out

Sports Day with 1st Years

Hey :)

Yesterday Banba were organising and holding a sports day for the 1st years and it went really well :)
We were only told on Friday we would be holding it so we were really happy it went smoothly.
All the 1st years took part in some athletic sport like long jump, 600 metre, sprint, high jump and loads more.
Class pearl came first with a whopping 61(i think) points. WOO GO PEARL :D

Theres a music night tonight in the school and Banba and Eriu are singing Shake It Out by Florence and the Machine so that should be fun :)

Well thats all really, I'll talk tomorrow about how the music night went :)

Something to say :)

Hey

Last weekend was St. Patricks weekend and i celebrated it with my best friends and family :)
I went into Dublin with some Friends where i made new friends :) Loads of them were foreigners coming to Ireland to celebrate the St. Patrick Parade and they were all so nice :D
On Sunday it was Mothers Day and my family and I went to the Abbey Lodge and had dinner
I had OREO CHEESCAKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was yummy :)

On April 20th (Day after my birthday :D ) we are going to the national aquatic centre in Blanchardstown and we are taking part of Ian Daly, SWIM A MILE WITH A SMILE !!
I cannot WAIT !! I really love swimming and i think i might try and go for the 64 lenghts, to get the mile but i am going to go in a group just so i don't have to really push myself   :)

Now are you ready to do a 6k course? WHAT!!!

Hey :)

Yesterday all Ty's went to Meath to do a 6km army course even though we were told we were doing a 3km!!
I was on the photography team so therefore did not do the course and i was so thankful for that!
The people who did do it looked like they would die from hypothermia at the end of it!
I was really proud of the people who did do it though :)

I don't think we have anything planned for a little while but thats okay because we have projects to do :/

Bang on my drum ! WAIT ! Its a JIMBAY !!!

Hey :)

On Monday all of class Banba did not have normal classes instead we had a percussion workshop :)

We played the Jimbay drum which is NOT a BONGO !
It was real fun at the beginning but towards the end it got kind of boring :(
I think it should have ended at like big lunch :)

Teacher ! Teacher !

Hey People :)

I haven't been on this in a while, Sorry :(
Last week all Ty's were on work experience and i was in my primary school Lindsay Road :)
It is a small school with only around 80 kids and there are 3 classrooms and a resource room :)

I had such a good time ! From 25 to 9 - 9 I was in 1st, 2nd, 3rd class, from 9- 9:30 i was in resource room, from 9:30-10:15 i was in 4th, 5th and 6th class. Then lunch was at 10:15-10:30. From 10:30 - 11:30 i was in junior and senior infants, then it was lunch again, 12-1 i was in junior and senior infants again. My last class was 1st, 2nd and 3rd class which was from 1-2 and then my day was over :D

I listened to the kids read(which i loved for some reason), helped them with their maths(i am not good under pressure but survived), corrected homework(i wish i had that homework again :( ), played with them at pe(I made a friend called Finn there :) i miss him :( ) and loads more :)

I already miss them all and i really want to become a primary school teacher now :D
